Private Scuba Diver Course

If you enjoy having some luxury during your diving holiday then the Private Scuba Diver Course suits perfectly, with only you or your chosen group of family or friends for us to concentrate on. 

As we are teaching your group only you don’t have to worry about holding up the other people if you are slightly nervous.

If you have a sense of adventure but don’t have time for the 4 day Open Water Course then this 2 day private course is for you. You will gain an internationally recognised PADI diving certification.

Learn in style
With some of the best learn to dive facilities in Queensland, you will be sped out on Poseidon or Calypso, the sleek and fast catamarans to the outer Barrier reef –and a great place to complete your course in style – but only after skills training in our tropically-styled Port Douglas pool. 

Course length
This is a 2 day course. 
8.45 – 4.30 for the first pool day. 
7.45 – 4.30 for the second day on the catamaran.

What does the course involve?
This short course involves pool dives, skills training, theory and two dives on the outer Great Barrier Reef.

What will you be qualified to do upon completion?
You will be internationally qualified to dive to 12 metres under the direct supervision of a PADI professional. A further two day upgrade with us or any other PADI centre worldwide will give you the full Open Water certification.

Requirements
12 years of age and able to swim and medically fit. Please note that asthma and some other medical conditions will prevent you from diving without a Queensland Dive Medical.
