1. We have a policy of only taking a maximum of 4 on PADI Open Water Courses and Advanced Courses as it means we can give expert and individual attention to each student - it's a bit like the small school classes issue. It's much, much better for the learning to dive experience.
2. Secondly, we offer a free extra dive on the Open Water Course so instead of just 4 Open Water dives you will each get 5 great dives out on the pristine outer Great Barrier Reef.
3. Thirdly, we have a unique policy that if, for any reason, anyone wishes to cancel at the end of day one of the course we offer a refund of $400.

Opal Reef Complex
With some of the best learn to dive facilities in Queensland, you will be sped out on Calypso the sleek and fast catamaran. Calypso, will effortlessly cruise out to the Opal Reef Complex, the gem of the outer Great Barrier Reef. A great place to complete your Open Water Course in style - but only after after skills training in our Port Douglas pool.
Getting your PADI Scuba Diving certification does not leave you less holiday time - it is part of your holiday. With some stunning underwater sights and some challenging experiences it completes your break - and you return home with something to be immensely proud of.
Experienced Scuba divers
Blue Dive can also offer plenty of other exciting and challenging scuba diving for those with a bit of experience - we offer expert PADI Scuba tuition from the PADI Advanced Course (with a Lake Eacham option) up to the Divemaster level.
Rainforest volcano diving option
We also offer fascinating and unusual Scuba diving day trips up to Lake Eacham; an extinct volcano and freshwater lake at 720m altitude up in the tropical rainforest in the Atherton Tablelands. The lake is full of Red-Clawed Yabbies (small lobsters) and freshwater turtles. Strange rock formations and fallen trees make it a memorable if unusual scuba dive... surfacing surrounded by a lush rainforest is some experience.
Agincourt Ribbon Reefs
On Poseidon, we can take you on great Scuba diving day trips up to the stunning Agincourt Ribbon Reefs north of Port Douglas. Poseidon also has a licence to swim with Minke whales that visit the area between May and August. It can be an incredible experience.
Top of the range; Cod Hole and Osprey Reef diving safaris
We now offer fantastic 3, 4 and 7 day diving safaris to the world famous Cod Hole and Osprey Reefs and the northern Ribbon Reefs. Newer divers are given the chance to enhance their skills and experienced divers are given the freedom to do their own thing.
